Let me say right from the start – this thing is a BEAST! Two wrestlers couldn’t pull this thing apart it is that heavy duty!
With all of that said, I will say that it is rather large. Now, I am not a roofer or a framer and this might be perfect for them. I have built a few pole barns, done a few roofs, a half-dozen kitchen remodels, a deck and a dock… but I don’t do it day in and day out.
What I do like about this tool belt though is that it has a number of pockets inside the large pockets for things such as pliers, screw drivers, knives, etc. etc. That does make it handy.
The set I ordered came with the suspenders and I would say that they are a must so spend the extra money. This thing is heavy without any tools or nails/screws in it. Add another 20-25lbs of accoutrements and it would be murder on the hips/waist. The adjustments on the suspenders could be a bit easier, but they are well padded and once you get it dialed in, I doubt you would ever have to touch them again.
